Research-Education Center

MIOSMED Center is an officially approved ISAKOS Teaching Center (the first one in Athens and the second one in Greece).

The Center’s physicians have organized congresses and instructional course lectures and they are regularly invited as speakers and instructors on cadaveric hands on courses.

• “Basic arthroscopic techniques: knee and shoulder”. Hands-on cadaver lab, Orthopaedic Department University of Ioannina and 2nd Orthopaedic Department Iaso General Hospital –shoulder arthroscopy center, Athens, March 19-20,2010.
• FIMS Team Physician Development Course with hands on training, Thessaloniki, Greece, November 21-22, 2009.
• Basic Seminar ECOSEP in Sports Injuries Rehabilitation, Thessaloniki, Greece, May 16-17, 2009.
• 2nd Panhellenic Sports Medicine Congress Athletia, Athens, Greece, March 13-15, 2009.

Our future plans include a 6 months fellowship in our Center and an e-letter including topics in all aspects of minimally invasive diagnostic and Interventional orthopaedic and sports medicine procedures
